Analytics FAQ

Questions about scan analytics.

Plain answers on privacy, location, exports and where the data goes.

ZetaQR's analytics don't use cookies and don't build profiles of the people who scan. You see location, device and time in aggregate. If you add your own marketing pixels, like Meta Pixel, to a page your code opens, those tools may set their own cookies, so mention them in your privacy notice.

City and country. It comes from the network the scan arrives on, so nobody gets asked for GPS access. That also means it's approximate, especially on mobile data.

Yes. Download your scan numbers as a CSV for reports, spreadsheets or client decks.

No. Scans show up in your dashboard as they happen, so you can watch a launch go live.

Not directly yet. You can export scans as a CSV, and if you add UTM tags to your codes, visits also show up in Google Analytics alongside the rest of your traffic.
